“Lady Windermere’s Fan”

“He’s been out late. He’s probably seeing someone else. He’s having an affair.” Such were the thoughts of glamorous Lady Windermere of her handsome husband.
Seattle’s own historical costuming club, Somewhere in Time, Unlimited (SITU) has secured a limited number of discounted tickets for an Oscar Wilde play. SITU Members, Guests, and Friends will benefit. “Lady Windermere’s Fan” is set in Edwardian England and is being presented by the acclaimed Taproot Theatre in north Seattle, May 19, 2018 which will begin at 2pm.
SITU has invited the Costume Designer, Jocelyn Fowler, to a pre-play tea hosted by SITU, where she will present her design boards, samples, and design thoughts as she put together the extensive costumes for this play. We’ll snack on treats and sip tea in a convivial pre-play gathering. (Tea time to be revealed by April 1st.)

What to wear:
This play is set in the Edwardian period. We’d love to encourage you to wear your favorite Edwardian attire. Should you not have such attire in your armoire, then “all-black” is always appropriate. Please, NO jeans.
