A staple in the most fashionable ladies historical costume wardrobe is the versatile Walking Skirt. With this skirt you can create lovely ensembles by changing the blouse, accessories, and hat. This skirt will take you from late Victorian through the Edwardian era and into the teens.
SITU University presents a Walking Skirt Workshop where you will be guided through the fitting process, pattern layout, cutting, and sewing of the walking skirt. This is a 2-day workshop with a follow-up day for those needing additional time to finish their skirt. The goal is for every attendee to have a finished walking skirt.
A list of student-provided supplies* and driving directions will be provided in advance of the workshop.
