A staple in the most fashionable lady's historical costume wardrobe, the hatpin is a must-have accessory!

Learn to create decorative hatpins to accentuate lovely hats and ensembles. These pins are suitable for Victorian through the Edwardian eras!

What We Will Do:

It's imperative that participants are on time! We will meet at the Training Center and then carpool the short distance to the bead store to select beads.

What to Bring &
What's Supplied:

Once your payment reservation has been confirmed, a Supplies List will be emailed to you for you to assemble prior to class.

To be furnished by Instructor:
2 Wire rods
Epoxy Glue
Sand Paper (coarser and finer)

To be brought to class by Student:
Beads (Bring $5 – $20 to class; you/we will purchase them at the beginning of class at the bead store. Amount spent will depend on how many/how fancy your bead choice.)

Files or Rasps (coarser and finer)
Piece of wax paper or paper plate to mix epoxy on
Stir sticks to mix epoxy, toothpicks or bamboo skewers can be used
Note: Epoxy glue dries very fast and is very hard to remove.

Treats to share, if desired,  finger food only  (No need to use plates or cutlery.)

Water, coffee & tea will be furnished by the Training Center

Tuition:

$10.00 - Registration preference given to 2023 SITU Members.
