Women at Work: Uniforms & Work Wear 1910 – 2010

Saturday, June 10, 2017
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Organized by Miss Bobbie

Join other costume enthusiasts to view this temporary exhibit of working women’s attire and hear a curator-led presentation!

Professional women of the early and mid-1900s followed dreams and necessity to pursue careers and work that was often outside the norm – and that came with a price. Held to different standards, which are especially easy to see in dress, women usually obliged and persevered.

Curator led talks:

Two sessions, at 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm
Open Hours: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

General admission to the museum for the day of the presentation is:
$5 for adults
$2 for children and seniors

Costumers may want to attend dressed as a working woman 1910 – 2010

Organizer/Point Person: Miss Bobbie

An RSVP is requested, but not required.  Please confirm with Miss Bobbie: BKalben “at”
